This blog is all about my big yellow lab--Jake! Jake was born on January 27, 2001 in a little red barn on Parker Street in West Newbury, Mass during Super Bowl weekend. His parents, Jake and Penny, were both chocolate labs, and this is what makes Jake a special yellow lab, with his butter rum colored eyes and his pink nose!
Jake has been nothing but the highlight and joy of all our lives since the day we brought him home. He is funny and sweet and full of personality. Some of his favorite things are swimming in the ocean after sticks, running on the beach, riding in the truck with David, going to the dump, romping loose through Dog Town with Nate and stealing a nap on the big bed! He LOVES bananas, peanut butter, pizza crust and especially ice cream!
Some people think I'm a little crazy about my dog and I think I'd have to agree. In my world, it's just all about Jake!

that's what he does best - you need some action shots - like him in the snow romping through evans field.
